Applying Patches on DB2020 Phones with JDFlasher

JDFlasher is very faster….. You can apply 300kb patch only in two minutes….. But if you consider about SETool 2 Lite, it takes nearly 20 to 25 minutes to apply the same patch…. So try JDFlasher and enjoy big GFX patches………….

First of all you need Far Manager 1.7, JDFlasher Plugin and USBFlash Driver

Install Far Manager and extract JDFlasher to the Far plugin directory. By default it will be C:\Program Files\Far\Plugins\

Applying Quick_access patch: you have to follow bellow steps only one time…………

01. Download a copy of the Main

02. Put the Main (.mbn) file in the Far \ Plugins \ jdflaser \ 2020_52

03. Drag the Main (.mbn) file to the qmaker.exe

04. Allow finish the process. It should not take more than a few seconds.It will create a quick_access.vkp patch like: quick_access_W610_R8BA024.vkp

05. If you dont want to do that, Download quick_access vkp patch from here………

06. Open Far Manager, press Alt-F1 and select “just gives flasher”

07. Choose “db2020″ from Script section, DCU-60 from port, the maximum speed and click “jump down into a large rabbit-hole”

08. As soon connect your phone and double click on “bflash”

09. It is necessary to reinsert the battery 3 times (it will tell you when to). Do not leave your computer

10. At the time it is finished, tell Re-falshear the Main. Let’s do it now

11. In the right pane to navigate Far \ Plugins \ jdflasher \ 2020_52

12. Choose your Main (be sure to select the .mbn file and no .vkp File!) Click copy. In the 1st of dialogue do not change anything, just click copy. In the 2nd ensure dialogue “flash babe image” (1 st option) is selected and click flash

13. After Flash has done select the quick_access .VKP patch which is in the Far \ Plugins \ jdflasher \ 2020_52 press and copy. Do not change anything in the 1st dialogue again. In the 2nd dialogue to ensure that “Process vkp patch” is selected and click “flash”. You should take a few seconds

14. You can now apply any patch you want!

15. When you are done, click the 3 points or 2 points (“…”) and select “yes”

You have to follow above steps only the first time…..

Now steps for applying vkp Patches:

01. Run Far Manager, press Alt-F1 and select “just gives flasher”

02. Choose “qa2020″ from Script section, DCU-60 from port, the maximum speed and click “jump down into a large rabbit-hole”

03. As soon connect your phone and double click on “bflash”

04. Now in the right pane to navigate to the directory where is your .vkp patches

05. Now select any of the vkp patch and press copy. Do not change anything in the 1st dialogue nad click “copy”. In the 2nd dialogue to ensure that “as a vkp patch”(2nd option) is selected and click “yeah, flash it”

06. After few seconds it shows a dialog box that vkp patch execute ok

07. If you want to remove any patch, select any of the vkp patch and press copy. Do not change anything in the 1st dialogue box and click “copy”. In the 2nd dialogue to ensure that “remove patch”(3rd option) is selected and click “yeah, flash it”

08. After few seconds it shows a dialog box that vkp patch execute ok

09. When you are done, click the 3 points or 2 points (“…”) and select “yes”

Switch on your phone and enjoy patches……..
